The first post - info and rules.

All right. Time to get this ball rolling!

This community is dedicated to Rutgers University Japanese Cultural Association. To make a long story short, we're the Rutgers Anime Club, but we do other things besides just watch anime - including, but not limited to watching Japanese live action movies and shows, cultural discussions, games, social nights, raffles, so on and so forth. All members, alumni, or anyone who holds an interest in the club are welcome to join and participate in the community.

I am the humble treasurer for the 2004-2005 school year, and the moderator of this community. So anyway, this is going to sound like old hat, I'm sure, but I just wanted to lay down a couple community rules. Bare with me, they're not that hard!

1. Absolutely NO flaming or trolling. This is the most important rule to any community. Polite and civil discussion is of course welcome, and encouraged, but I reserve the right to delete any posts and ban any members who choose to be rude, or pick fights with other members.

2. Please stay on topic! This is for discussion, chat, introductions, question, etc pertaining to the club. Discussion about anime and other aspects of Japanese culture, or Japanese related classes at Rutgers are also okay. But please do not post about how much you loath Tillett Dining hall, no matter how bad the food gets ^_~

3. If you're posting a large image, please use an LJ-cut. To use one, type < lj-cut > before the image and < /lj-cut > after the image, removing the spaces.

Any problems, please don't hesitate to drop me a line, ginnyseta.

These rules will be added to the profile of the community, and might have a few odds and ends added to them if need be. Coming soon - a list of the current officers, info on our first meeting, and other fun stuff! Feel free to start posting people!
